PWA x A/NT: Queer Visions

Wednesday, June 4 – Friday, July 4, 2025

Closing Reception: Friday, June 27 from 3-6 PM

A/NT Gallery
305 Harrison St.
Seattle, WA 98109

To be queer is to live boldly in a world that often demands we stay small. It is an act of courage, creativity, resistance—and joy. Taking pride in one’s queerness can be both liberating and dangerous, vulnerable and powerful.

Path with Art’s LGBTQIA+ Open Studio was launched as a space for community-building through art. Many of the works in Queer Visions were created in Open Studio, while others reflect the creative journeys of LGBTQIA+ artists in the broader Path with Art community.

Together, these pieces offer a powerful exploration of identity, queer joy, and belonging. Across collage, painting, sculpture, jewelry, writing, and video, the artists of Queer Visions transform lived experience into bold statements of resilience and self-expression—manifested in the pieces you see in this space.

Queer Visions honors the long history of LGBTQIA+ resistance and celebrates the power of art to heal, connect, and build community.

Join us on June 27th from 3–6pm for a closing reception featuring performances by participants from Path with Art’s Drag Camp class.

Spring Visions: Interwoven

Thursday, April 24 – Friday, June 27, 2025

Path with Art

Art is a thread that binds us—to each other, to our histories, and to the ever-evolving stories we tell through creative expression. As many threads create a single fabric, Interwoven brings together a diverse collection of works that explore material, memory, and meaning. Through sculpture, quilting, painting, collage, writing, and more, these artists weave together personal narratives, shared experiences, and artistic discovery into a vibrant tapestry of connection.

From the delicate interplay of light and shadow in graphite drawings to the bold harmonies of color in gouache and watercolor, every piece in this exhibition reflects the unique perspective of its creator while contributing to a larger collective vision. Found objects are reimagined into sculptural forms, and fabric is stitched into patterns that hold stories—each medium serving as a link between the past, present, and future.

At the heart of Interwoven is the understanding that creativity happens not in isolation, but in community. Like beads strung together, we too are connected by our art, our experiences, and our shared humanity. As you move through this exhibition, we invite you to reflect on the ways in which your own story intertwines with those around you.

May this space serve as a reminder that we are all part of something larger—a fabric of creativity, resilience, and transformation.
