Student Community Manager

Employment Status: Full time

Reports to: Program Director

Responsibilities

Program analytics, measurement, and strategy

  • Working with Program Director, identify active student participation metrics and targets in line with Path with Art’s Strategic Plan

  • Build and maintain a model to forecast the detailed performance metrics needed to achieve the targets

  • Help develop strategies and action plans to achieve the targets

  • Track and report actual performance on a weekly basis

  • Analyze root causes of performance shortfalls and identify specific actions to improve performance

Program evaluation

  • Analyze student survey data to evaluate overall program effectiveness and identify areas of improvement

  • Working with Program Director and evaluation consultant to improve, refine, and analyze program evaluation processes and data.

Student Pathways Initiative management

  • Working with the Program Director to design, develop, and improve the Student Pathways Initiative (SPI) program

  • Manage the operation of the SPI programs inclusive of but not limited to: Certificate Program, Student Leadership Opportunities; Student Ambassadors, Speakers Bureau, and Volunteers.

  • Growing SPI participation by reaching out to existing PwA students to encourage them to join and complete the SPI program

  • Cultivating participant engagement inclusive of, but not limited to: electronic, in-person, and phone communications with participants, coordination of 2 annual student community meetings, maintenance of regular open-to-all Office Hours, and direct outreach to participants.

  • Prepare Student Pathways Initiative informational materials for public distribution on Path with Art’s website, newsletter, and in print.

Student registration management and oversight 

  • Oversee the registration process that is led by the Program Coordinators

  • Ensure systems and materials are updated in a timely manner

  • Track registration progress daily during registration period to identify potential shortfalls or adjustments needed.

  • Assist Program Director and Program Coordinators to engage social partners to drive student participation

Student engagement policies, guidelines and training

  • Working with the Program Director to train teaching artists, creative mentors, and student volunteers in the principles of trauma informed care and PwA policies

  • Assist in the annual review of PwA policies 

  • Working in tandem with Program Director, supporting the creation, support and facilitation of Arts Partner trainings 

  • Working with Program Director for creating guidelines for working with students

  • Ongoing training staff and interns on interactions

  • Develop and produce the Student Handbook

Other responsibilities, as needed

  • Assist with the ongoing documentation and evaluation of all programs

  • Organize and take notes at monthly Program Advisory Board meetings

  • Participate in tabling activities as needed

  • Attend and assist with fundraising efforts as needed

  • General support for program activities as requested by the Program Director


Skills & Experience

 Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:

  • Five or more years of experience in program analysis and measurement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytic and strategic skills

  • Experience with Salesforce (including report development) and Excel modeling skills

  • Experience working with the communities we serve, including those in active recovery from domestic abuse, homelessness, addition, mental illness and other trauma

  • Proactive, results oriented, problem solver, strong team player

  • Passionate about Path with Art’s mission and driven to improve program performance and impact 

Work Environment

  • Generally, work is in an office setting but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of typical office environment.

WHO WE SERVE

We serve low-to-no income adults in active recovery from domestic abuse, homelessness, addiction, mental illness, and other trauma who are working to rebuild their lives.  Our students are referred to us by over 30 social service partners. These include housing providers such as Plymouth Housing, the YWCA, and the Downtown Emergency Services Center as well as social service and mental health agencies such as the Community Psychiatric Clinic and Recovery Café.
