Assistant to the Executive Director
Full Time - 40 hours/week
Starting salary: $38,000 - $42,000
Reports to: Executive Director
Primary responsibilities include:
Assist Executive Director in all aspects of job
Record filing and organizational support
Manage all scheduling and calendar requests for the Executive Director
Adapt existing task management systems and implement new systems, when necessary
Generate weekly the Staff Meeting Agenda, with help from the Executive Director, Director of Operations, Program Director and Development Director, take minutes and file accordingly
Board support as required, ie. correspondence with Board members on behalf of, and as directed by the Executive Director, scheduling meetings, digital filing, and occasional tech support
Support Development activities, donor entry and letter creation
Receiving, opening, and processing organizational mail
Attending meetings with, or on behalf of, Executive Director, and taking corresponding minutes, then filing accordingly
Other tasks as assigned

Proficiency in Mac operating systems, Dropbox, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Strong work ethic

WHO WE SERVE
We serve low-to-no income adults in active recovery from domestic abuse, homelessness, addiction, mental illness, and other trauma who are working to rebuild their lives. Our students are referred to us by over 30 social service partners. These include housing providers such as Plymouth Housing, the YWCA, and the Downtown Emergency Services Center as well as social service and mental health agencies such as the Community Psychiatric Clinic and Recovery Café.
