Path with Art Teaching Artists are practicing artists who also have a strong background in teaching and a desire to share their passion for art with others. Teachers who work in any of a variety of mediums, from writers to painters to potters to dancers to musicians to theater directors and everything in between, are invited to share their passion for what they do with others who don’t have access to it. If you have a skill to teach, Path with Art offers you a chance to make a real difference in an adult’s life that has been destroyed by homelessness, trauma, addiction, or mental illness. Share your gift through volunteering to teach 6-10 week workshops. Payment includes a modest stipend and the incalculable wealth of reawakened smiles. The results so far have been nothing short of amazing. Through Path with Art, people who’d given up on themselves are finding a way back to the hopes they’d lost. They’re discovering that their lives have value again. You can be part of that discovery. If you’re interested in leading a workshop, or simply want more information, please contact Deborah Blake at 206-650-0669 or download an application here. Be prepared for a journey that you won’t forget. |
